Certain safe havens apply to convictions of all offenses which are included in this ground of deportation. In examining a particular offense or record of conviction, it is important to consider all possible safe havens, including general safe havens that apply to all or many conviction-based grounds of deportation. See § 7.149(A), infra. In addition, a conviction of an offense that is not on the list of domestic violence offenses does not trigger deportation under this deportation ground. See § 7.149(B), infra.
