Criminal Defense of Immigrants

Importation or exportation of a controlled substance will generally be considered a controlled substances offense and an aggravated felony, as well as giving the DHS reason to believe one is a drug trafficking.  However, since import/export of controlled substances can be committed for personal use, this is not always true.  There are also arguments that export/import of a controlled substance may not be a crime of moral turpitude.
